This record describes the Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) data collected from the Marine National Facility RV Investigator voyage IN2017_C02, titled: "RAN Hydrographic Survey." The voyage took place between May 4 and May 15, 2017 departing from Hobart (TAS) and arriving in Bell Bay (TAS).Only the RDI Ocean Surveyor 75kHz ADCP was operated for the voyage. Data quality is acceptable, but not ideal as the drop keep was flush with the gondola for most of the voyage. See report for full details. Data was collected during IN2017_C02 for parts of the voyage, however, gaps in the data occur at times when multibeam surveys were conducted. Data was collected using UHDAS and post-processed using CODAS.The RDI Ocean Surveyor 150kHz ADCP was not operational during this voyage. The RDI Ocean Surveyor 75kHz ADCP was run in narrowband mode. Internal triggering was used.The drop keel was at 1.19m below the waterline for most of the voyage.See the voyage computing and electronics report for more details regarding data acquisition.This dataset was processed and then archived within the CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere (O&A) Information and Data Centre (IDC) in Hobart.
