In Vietnam, colorectal cancer (CRC) is among the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in both women and men. Given its substantial morbidity and mortality burden, there is a critical need to explore new strategies and perspectives to improve patient outcomes. Alterations in the gut microbiota may help explain why some patients respond favorably to anticancer therapies while others do not. In this study, we conducted a follow-up investigation to better understand the role of the human gut microbiome in therapeutic responses among Vietnamese patients.
