Celtis africana metabolite profiles: Supplementary Materials

Fungal and bacterial endophytes were isolated from aerial parts of<i> Celtis africana</i>. Crude extracts from endophytes were prepared by extracting fermented broth cultures with ethyl acetate, hexane and dichloromethane. Plant crude extracts from the stems, leaves and fruits were prepared by extracting with ethyl acetate, hexane and dichloromethane : methanol (1:1, v/v). Untargeted metabolite profiling was performed using Pegasus 4D two-dimensional gas chromatography coupled with time of flight mass spectrometry (GCxGC-TOF-MS) (LECO Corporation, Michigan, USA) fitted with a Rxi-5Sil MS (30 m, 250 µm i.d., 0.25 µm df) (Restek, Pennsylvania, USA) primary column and a Rxi-17Sil MS (2 m, 250 µm i.d., 0.25 µm df) (Restek, Pennsylvania, USA) secondary column.
