This zip file contains data and code for "Alteration of Feldspar-Rich Rocks on Ancient Mars and Possible Link to Ca/Fe-Rich Carbonates" by C. Wang, T. Usui, and M. Melwani Daswani. The following files are included: - A spreadsheet showing the processing of protolith compositions for simulation input (Protolith Composition Processing.xlsx).- PHREEQC simulation input files (.pqi) for all simulations mentioned in the paper.- Python scripts (.py) and a JMARS session file (.jmars) for generating the figures in the main text and supporting information.- Supporting files required by the Python scripts to generate the figures, including PHREEQC selected output files (.sel) for the simulations. Abbreviations used in the file names: fsp or fsp-rich = feldspar-rich, adv-dis = advective-dispersive, diff = diffusive, wr = water-to-rock ratio, ir = individual endmember dissolution rates, ur = uniform endmember dissolution rates, evap = evaporation, dis_rates = dissolution rates, ap = chlorapatite, py = pyrite. For details and references, please refer to the paper. Instructions for running the Python scripts: - The scripts require supporting files (.sel or .csv) in the same folder to run. Please check the comment at the beginning of each script for the required files and copy them into the same folder as the script.- Some scripts ask the user to select what variables to plot. To reproduce the figures in the paper, please select the same list of variables as shown in the legend of each panel of the figure of interest.
