In this study we generated a transgenic mouse that contains the coding sequence of Olfr2 in the locus of Olfr1507, using CRISPR-Cas9 technology coupled with homologous recombination. Mice are in a C57BL/6N genetic background. Whole olfactory mucosa from 10-week-old males was dissected and RNA was extracted using the Qiagen RNeasy kit using standard protocols. Four wild-type and four homozygote biological replicates were multiplexed together and sequenced in two lanes on the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform. This data is part of a pre-publication release.
