IMPROVING THE ORGANIZATIONAL AND ECONOMIC MECHANISMS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF UZBEKISTAN'S REGIONS

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the key drivers of regional economic transformation worldwide. The integration of AI technologies into regional economies contributes to higher labor productivity, improved resource allocation, accelerated digital transformation, and sustainable economic development. Uzbekistan has identified digitalization and artificial intelligence as strategic priorities within its long-term development agenda. However, the effective implementation of AI across the country's regions requires the improvement of organizational and economic mechanisms that ensure coordination among government institutions, businesses, research organizations, and higher education institutions. This paper examines the current state of AI implementation in Uzbekistan's regional economies and proposes an organizational and economic framework for accelerating AI adoption. The study highlights the importance of institutional support, investment incentives, digital infrastructure, human capital development, and regional innovation ecosystems. The proposed mechanism aims to enhance regional competitiveness while ensuring sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
