Implementation of a Standardised Surgical Checklist for Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumour to Improve Risk Stratification and Overall Management of Non-Muscle-Invasive Bladder Cancer

Surgical checklists have previously been shown to improve surgical quality and patient outcomes. This thesis aims to posit an optimised surgical checklist and evaluate its use in bladder tumour resection procedures to improve risk classification for patients with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Its findings support the use of checklists as a standard practice in bladder cancer resection procedures to enhance clinical documentation and guide better risk assessment.
