Chinese dwarf cherry [Cerasus humilis (Bge.) Sok.] polyphenol extract (OPE) promote osteoblastic differentiation in MC3T3-E1 cells and reduce ovariectomy-induced bone loss in rats via the calcium/AMPK signaling pathway

Osteoporosis (OP) is a systemic bone disease associated with aging and imbalance in bone metabolism. In this study, the osteoprotective activity of Chinese dwarf cherry (<em>Cerasus humilis)</em> polyphenol extract (OPE) was characterized <em>in vitro</em> and <em>in vivo</em>, and the osteoprotective mechanism was studied.
