Percentage Land Cover Statistics for CaSTCo Demos

Visualisations for this layer only include the top 10 land use types in the catchment - the other statistics can be found in the pop-ups or by visualizing the data in ArcPro. Percentage Land Use cover by Waterbody catchment for all CaSTCo Demo Catchments. To calculate these statistics, the UKCEH 2023 Land Use Cover map was vectorised and clipped to the waterbody shapefiles for each CaSTCo catchment. Area were then calculated for each land use type and used to calculate overall percentage proportion in separate waterbody catchments. This data is intended to clearly show the differing land use coverage in each CaSTCo Catchment in more detail to allow for better decision making and help answer some water quality questions.
