Database research on the performance of Brazilian teachers in the pandemic and the burnout syndrome

The research developed at the Federal University of Santa Catarina aimed to analyze the levels of Burnout Syndrome in teaching activities during the pandemic, seeking to identify factors, conditions and levels of education that could be associated. Burnout Syndrome is associated with professional activity including exhaustion, emotional exhaustion, chronic stress and dehumanization. The research foresees two procedures for data collection. At first, the instrument was built and validated with specialists. The questionnaire applied online included sociodemographic questions and health conditions, as well as personal and institutional conditions for acting as a teacher during the pandemic and includes the adaptation of a standardized instrument on Burnout Syndrome.
