Woman votive head

Red-brown clay containing mica. No remains of a coating. A modern drill hole at the bottom of the neck. Broad face with double chin and rings of Venus on the neck. Two holes for attaching earrings. Hair is parted across the middle of the forehead and gathered on either side to the back of the head, where it is tied in a bun. At the hairline, curls are indicated by indentations. A loop of hair can be seen above the crown of the head, which is pulled forward like a Phrygian cap. A medallion consisting of a disc and a pendant hanging down is attached to two intersecting ribbons underneath.
