Market Access Achievements

​​​Improving market access for Australia’s agricultural, fisheries and forestry exports is vital for supporting a vibrant competitive agricultural industry. To do this, the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources works to remove technical requirements imposed by other countries such as labelling, pest and disease process requirements and residue limits that are inconsistent with Australia’s production systems and, in many cases, with international standards and rights and obligations under international trade rules.提升澳大利亚农产品、渔业产品与林产品的出口市场准入水平，对于支撑具有活力与竞争力的农业产业至关重要。为此，澳大利亚农业与水资源部（Department of Agriculture and Water Resources）正致力于消除其他国家施加的各类技术要求，包括标签规范、病虫害处理规程以及残留限量标准——此类要求既与澳大利亚的生产体系相悖，且在多数情形下亦不符合国际标准，以及国际贸易规则所规定的权利与义务。
