This dataset is developed based on the MODIS MOD15A2H product, generating annual Fraction of Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FPAR) data for China from 2000 to 2024 via the Maximum Value Composite (MVC) method. The study area encompasses the entire territory of China, with a temporal range spanning from 2000 to 2024, providing continuous spatial distribution data to reflect interannual variations in vegetation photosynthetic capacity. 2. Scientific research units including universities, research institutes, enterprises and public institutions. 3. Strict quality control measures were implemented throughout the dataset production process, including eliminating low-quality pixels by utilizing product quality metadata to ensure data reliability. This dataset holds considerable value for assessing vegetation productivity across China, investigating ecosystem carbon cycles, and monitoring dynamic vegetation changes.
