Functional maturation of rat beta cells

The weaning period consist of a critical postnatal window for structural and physiologic maturation of rat beta cells. To investigate transcriptome changes involved in the maturation of beta cells neighboring this period we performed microarray analysis in FACS beta cell enriched populations to detail the global programme of gene expression to identify its changes during this process.断奶期是大鼠β细胞结构与生理成熟的关键出生后窗口期。为探究紧邻该时期的β细胞成熟过程中涉及的转录组变化，我们对经荧光激活细胞分选（Fluorescence-Activated Cell Sorting，FACS）富集的β细胞群开展了微阵列分析，以解析全局基因表达程序，从而识别该过程中的基因表达变化。
