This dataset contains research grant documents classified according to a custom categorization of science, technology, and innovation (STI) policy instruments. The dataset includes research grants from various funding sources, each classified into one of 8 categories such as business R&D innovation, fellowships, institutional funding, networking collaborative, other research funding, out of scope, public project grants, and research infrastructure. The features of the dataset include a unique identifier for the grant, title, abstract, funding organization, funding scheme, beneficiary, and data source. The label is the classification category, which is the target variable.
