资源简介:
Seriola quinqueradiata (yellowtail) is the most produced and economically important aquaculture fish species in Japan. A comprehensive annotation of overall protein-cording genes for yellowtail genome help identify the important genes and pathways involved in the regulation of economically important traits. In addition, the well-annotated yellowtail genome provides a powerful tool for deeper understanding of their biology and will enhance physiological studies for optimization of their breeding technologies. In this study, by taking advantage of the genome of haploid fish larvae for de novo assembly of whole-genome sequences, we built a high-quality draft genome of yellowtail. The total length of the assembled sequences was 627.3 Mb, consisting of 1,394 scaffold sequences (>2 kb) with an N50 length of 1.43 Mb.
