Cumberland Plain Conservation Plan (CPCP)

The Cumberland Plain Conservation Plan (the CPCP) facilitates growth in Western Sydney to 2056 and beyond, and delivers important development and biodiversity outcomes. \r\n\r\nThe CPCP is one of the largest strategic conservation plans to be undertaken in Australia and will protect large areas of significant habitat for threatened plants and animals, including koala population, while supporting the delivery of housing, jobs and infrastructure. \r\n\r\nThe CPCP will facilitate delivery of up to 73,000 homes planned for the Western Parkland City by providing the necessary NSW and Federal biodiversity approvals across around 11,000 hectares of land including the Western Sydney Aerotropolis to enable development of new housing and infrastructure. \r\n\r\nThere are 9 datasets associated with the CPCP, these are available as a part of the download package.\r\n\r\nThe datasets are:\r\n\r\n1) CPCP Native Vegetation\r\n\r\n2) CPCP BC ACT TEC\r\n\r\n3) CPCP EPBC ACT TEC\r\n\r\n4) CPCP Protected Koala Habitat\r\n\r\n5) CPCP Georges River Koala Reserve\r\n\r\n6) CPCP Nominated Areas\r\n\r\n7) CPCP Land Categories\r\n\r\n8) CPCP Strategic Conservation Area\r\n\r\n9) CPCP Area\r\n\r\n\r\nFor a full metadata descriptions of each dataset please download the metadata table\r\n
