Surgically procured utricles from organ donors and vestibular schwannoma patients underwent scRNAseq revealing unique transcriptional signatures among highly diverse sensory and non-sensory cells. Utricles from vestibular schwannoma patients or organ donors were acquired and enzymatically digested followed by single cell dissociation. The cells then underwent single cell dissociation followed by 10x capture and sequencing.
