Chilean Scientific Publications in Economics: A View from Latindex, SciELO, WoS and Scopus

The objective of it exploratory study is characterizing at quantitative level of production and visibility of the Chilean Economy scientific literature publishing in journals indexed in the Latindex Catalog, SciELO, Scopus and Web of Science. Identified The most productive chilean researchers in economy, as are their institutional origin, level of collaboration with national and foreign institutions; and the journal titles where they prefer to publish. This is a under degree thesis presented to Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana in the year 2014 in Library Science School.本探索性研究旨在从量化维度刻画智利经济学领域科学文献的产出规模与可见性表现，相关文献发表于Latindex目录（Latindex Catalog）、SciELO、Scopus以及Web of Science收录的期刊中。本研究同时明确了智利经济学领域产出最为活跃的研究者群体、其所属机构背景、与国内外机构的合作程度，以及他们偏好的刊载期刊名称。本研究成果为2014年提交至智利都市理工大学（Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana）图书馆学系的本科毕业论文。
