Salivary Proteomic Signatures Reveal Novel Mechanistic Insights into Moderate Dental Fluorosis Pathogenesis and Oral Homeostasis Disruption
收藏资源简介:
This dataset comprises processed, participant-level salivary proteomic data generated from a comparative analysis of children with moderate dental fluorosis (MF, n = 10) and age-matched control subjects without fluorosis (CF, n = 21). Unstimulated whole saliva samples were analyzed by liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS). Protein identification and quantification were performed using Proteome Discoverer, with a false discovery rate of <1% applied at the protein level. The data are provided as a single wide-format Excel file, in which proteins are listed as rows and individual participants are represented as columns. Quantitative values correspond to normalized protein abundance measurements. Missing values are denoted as NA. Differential expression analysis was conducted on log2-transformed reporter ion intensities with multiple-testing correction using the Benjamini–Hochberg method. Raw mass spectrometry files are not publicly available due to ethical and data governance considerations. All processed data supporting the analyses and conclusions of the associated manuscript are included in this dataset.
