Hypoxia in the Chesapeake Bay has increased during the past century, coincident with the disappearance of Atlantic sturgeon spawning stocks. We hypothesized that habitats which satisfy both temperature and dissolved oxygen requirements of Atlantic sturgeon young-of-the-year may be limiting during summer months.
