The data describe land use on the island of Hirvensalo in 1880, 1961 and 2003. The material has been digitised from old maps and aerial photographs and does not contain the island of Papinsaari. The material was produced by Pekka Salminen for his thesis by the Department of Geography at the University of Turku.
