Map Viewing Service (WMS) of the dataset: Order Prefectural Protection of Biotope (APPB) in Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur

The orders for the protection of biotope concern natural habitats that are not exploited by humans and which contain non-domestic and/or floristic non-domestic species protected under Articles L. 411-1 and L. 411-2 of the Environmental Code. The aim is to prevent the extinction of protected species through conservation measures for their biotopes: necessary for feeding, breeding, resting or survival, these biotopes may consist of ponds, swamps, marshes, hedges, groves, heaths, dunes, lawns or any other unmanaged natural formations.
