Most parameter values were chosen to fall within the range of those found in the literature. Parameters without previously recorded values were estimated so that the model showed the expected dynamics. Parameter time units are in terms of days, while those dependent on space are scaled to be correct for a single 2 cm × 2 cm × 74 μm simulation region.
