Overview This repository contains datasets generated during the usability testing and pretesting of the Antenatal Risk Stratification (ARS) Tool — a digital tool developed to improve maternal health outcomes through individualized antenatal risk assessment.The data were collected as part of the evaluation of the tool’s clarity, usability, and respondent cognition in Kano and Lagos States, Nigeria. Files Included 1. ARS_TOOL_USABILITY_TEST.pdf This file contains data collected during the usability testing phase of the ARS Tool.It documents: Interview metadata (start and end times, duration, and respondent category) Completion time for each section of the ARS tool Respondent feedback on: Ease of use and navigation Layout and design quality Willingness to reuse or recommend the tool Suggested improvements and overall impressions Highlights: Participants were drawn from Kano and Lagos States across multiple respondent categories. Most respondents rated the tool as “Easy” to “Very Easy” to use. Common feedback included shortening the number of questions for improved efficiency. 2. ARS Pretesting DataSet.pdf This file presents detailed pretest results used to refine the ARS questionnaire before large-scale deployment.It includes observations of: Question comprehension (clarity and cognitive understanding) Time (seconds) taken per question Difficulty level and identification of ambiguous or confusing terms Respondent confidence while answering Interviewer debriefs and overall impressions Highlights: Conducted in Lagos and Kano States among pregnant women. Questions covered topics such as: Biodata and obstetric history Pregnancy symptoms and medical/surgical history Investigation results and interviewer debriefs
