EU-27: Share of crude steel production in selected countries 2018-2022

In all years recorded, Germany was by far the leading crude steel producer, accounting for more than one-quarter of crude steel produced within the European Union in 2022. Italy was the second-largest producer in the EU-27 that year, accounting for 21.6 percent of total production.
