资源简介:
This dataset encompasses a series of files related to a comprehensive ecotoxicology research project conducted in high elevation lakes of the Tokopah Basin in Sequoia National Park. The dataset includes detailed sampling data that reflects the copper concentrations at multiple levels of the food web. This dataset also includes morphometric data for collected fish, biomarkers of fish health (HSI, GSI, and SSI), and macroinvertebrate identification. The primary objective of this study was to investigate the dynamics of copper concentrations within alpine lake food webs and assess the potential ecological impacts on various trophic levels. Key research questions focused on understanding how copper accumulates across different environmental compartments including zooplankton, benthic macroinvertebrates, and fish tissues.
