Albatross Bay Penaeid Prawn Larval Abundance - Species Level Counts 1986-1992

Prawn larval densities were calculated from stepped oblique bottom to surface plankton tows, deployed during monthly cruises carried out at twenty-one stations in Albatross Bay, Gulf of Carpentaria. Cruises were undertaken between March 1986 and April 1992. Penaeid prawn counts were recorded to species level (Penaeus spp.) for all observed larval stages. Sampling used a stepped-oblique tow, using a 0.5 x 0.5 square metre frame with 140-142 micron mesh. Salinity-temperature profiles were also recorded during the cruise.本数据集的对虾幼体密度通过阶梯式底至表层浮游生物斜拖采样法（stepped oblique bottom-to-surface plankton tow）计算所得。采样布设于卡奔塔利湾（Gulf of Carpentaria）阿尔巴特罗斯湾（Albatross Bay）的21个站位开展的月度科考航次中，航次执行时段为1986年3月至1992年4月。所有观测到的幼体发育阶段的对虾科虾类（Penaeid prawn）均按物种级别完成计数记录，所涉类群为对虾属（Penaeus spp.）。 采样采用阶梯式斜拖方式，使用0.5×0.5平方米的方形网框，配套网目尺寸为140~142微米的网具。航次期间还同步记录了盐度-温度剖面数据。
