Systematic comparison of gene expression in yellow catfish X/Y sperms and XX/XY embryos

Yellow catfish (Pelteobagrus fulvidraco) is known to be sexually dimorphic on body size and possesses a relatively stable genetic sex determination (GSD) system. But the molecular mechanisms underlie sex determination are still need to be revealed. In this study, we are dedicated to reveal the mechanisms from the comparisons of germ cells (X sperm vs. Y sperm) and early stages of embryos (XX all-female vs. XY all-male).
