Gut microbiota of higher termite gut and nest of Cavitermes tuberosus and its hosts. termite gut metagenome

We perform Illumina sequencing of 16S rRNA gene to identify bacterial communities present in the gut and nests of higher termite C. tuberosus and in its different termite hosts (the builders). The study aims to test the hypothesis that C. tuberosus feeds on the nests of other termite species.
