Bisphenol A (BPA) has emerged as a significant environmental contaminant with widespread presence and adverse risks to the ecosystem. However, its toxic impact on agricultural productivity and the microbiome in the paddy soil under rising temperatures due to global warming has been largely overlooked and needs to be addressed. This study investigates the simultaneous effects of BPA at concentrations of 0, 1.5, 12, and 20 mg kg-1 and high temperature (42/38) on the growth and development and rhizospheric microbial composition of two contrasting rice genotypes: High-Temperature Resistant (HTR-1) and High-Temperature Sensitive (HTS-5), after 15 days of exposure.
