An empirical examination of knowledge management and organisational performance among Malaysian manufacturing SMEs

This dataset explores the relationship between knowledge management (KM) capabilities and organizational performance in Malaysian manufacturing SMEs. KM is conceptualized through four dimensions: knowledge acquisition, conversion, application, and protection. Data were collected from 116 top management respondents and analyzed using SmartPLS 2.0 (M3). Findings indicate that knowledge acquisition and protection positively influence organizational performance, while conversion and application do not show significant relationships. This dataset is valuable for researchers studying KM practices and their impact on organizational outcomes, particularly in the SME sector.
