Soil lysimeter measurements under diverse cropping systems [2017]

This data has been collected for a project funded by the NSERC Strategic Grant Program, the Ontario Soil Crop Improvement Association, Grain Farmers of Ontario (GFO), and the Ontario Ministry of Food Agriculture and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) to evaluate the impact of diverse cropping systems on soil health, water quality, and greenhouse gas emissions. The lysimeter infrastructure was funded by the Canadian Foundation for Innovation and the the Ontario Ministry of Research Innovation and Science. Measurements were taken from 18 lysimeters containing Elora loam (9) and Cambridge sand (9) soil columns. For each lysimeter, data is available for the weight of the soil column and drainage tank, as well as the soil matric potential, electrical conductivity, temperature, and volumetric water content at depths of 5, 10, 30, 60 and 90 cm.
