LINC00924-induced fatty acid metabolic reprograming facilitate gastric cancer peritoneal metastasis via hnRNPC-regulated alternative splicing of MNK2

We identified LIN00924 as a GC PM-related lncRNA. LINC00924 could regulate GC cell lipid metabolic reprogramming, which subsequently promote matrix-detached GC cells survival and spheroids formation. we found that LINC00924 is essential for GC cells growth and peritoneal metastasis formation and colonization in vitro and in vivo. Our results extend the understanding of lncRNA-mediated cancer metastasis which may be potentially efficacious for the prevention and treatment of GC PM.
