This dataset presents continuous microclimate observations recorded from a personal weather station (PWS) permanently installed outdoors at Goa, India (15°35'38.1"N, 73°48'29.87"E, altitude 32 m ASL) on the western coastal belt of the Indian subcontinent. The outdoor sensor unit is wall-mounted on the building exterior with the indoor console located approximately 5 metres away. MCR-003 is the inaugural report of the outdoor PWS series, recorded on 05 April 2026 with two readings approximately 8 hours apart — Day reading at 16:07 IST and Night reading at 23:58 IST. Previous records MCR-001 and MCR-002 were preliminary observations taken before permanent outdoor installation and are superseded by this record. The station records thirteen primary meteorological parameters at each observation: outdoor air temperature (°C), relative humidity (%), dew point temperature (°C), apparent temperature / heat index (°C), wind direction (°), wind gust speed (m/s), mean wind speed (m/s), rainfall rate (mm/h), relative atmospheric pressure (hPa), UV index, solar irradiance (W/m²), indoor air temperature (°C), and indoor relative humidity (%). From these base observations, twenty statistically significant derived parameters are computed per record including: saturation vapour pressure (hPa), actual vapour pressure (hPa), vapour pressure deficit — VPD (kPa), absolute humidity (g/m³), wet bulb temperature (°C), wet bulb globe temperature — WBGT (°C, ISO 7243), Humidex, air density (kg/m³), wind power density (W/m²), Beaufort scale classification, photosynthetically active radiation — PAR estimate (μmol/m²/s), clearness index Kt, reference evapotranspiration ET₀ (FAO-56 Penman-Monteith, mm/day), indoor–outdoor temperature differential ΔT (°C), indoor–outdoor humidity differential ΔRH (%), indoor–outdoor VPD gradient ΔVPD (kPa), indoor–outdoor absolute humidity gradient ΔAH (g/m³), and a mould risk index. This inaugural outdoor record captured a strong pre-monsoon south-westerly wind event (gust 6.9 m/s, avg 2.9 m/s, Beaufort 4) with solar irradiance of 340 W/m² and UV index 2 in the afternoon, followed by a sharp nocturnal temperature drop of 5.7°C with relative humidity surging to 80% — consistent with convective outflow boundary passage over the Goa coastal zone. From MCR-004 onwards each daily report will comprise four standard readings — R1 after sunrise, R2 near noon, R3 near sunset, and R4 near midnight — structured as individual PDF reports in the MCR-series format. The Goa coastal location enables study of tropical maritime microclimate dynamics, pre-monsoon heat stress, land-sea breeze cycles, building thermal performance, and Arabian Sea moisture incursion on India's west coast.
