We approach this by focusing on DNA methylation, utilizing high-throughput technologies combined with next-generation sequencing to identify key regulatory genes involved in osteoporosis. Given the limited research on the correlation between DNA methylation and osteoporosis, our study has confirmed differential DNA methylation levels between osteoporotic and non-osteoporotic patients. Further GO/KEGG analysis revealed upregulated and downregulated pathways associated with osteoporosis. Ultimately, using the keywords "bone," "osteoblast," and "osteoclast," we identified two genes, "TF" and "TGFB1," which may provide new theoretical foundations and practical insights for the future diagnosis and drug development of osteoporosis.
