资源简介:
This project contains data collected on a levee system located in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Specifically, two levee segments were captured: the Forty Fort levee and the Kingston levee. An extensive geospatial, geophysical, and geotechnical dataset was collected to perform a retrospective study of seepage that occurred at multiple locations along the levee in 2011 following extended rainfall and subsequent high water associated with Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. High resolution imagery captured via uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV), LiDAR and structure-from-motion captured via UAV, and riverbed bathymetry captured by Z-boat were collected for the entire extents of the two levees. Geophysical and geotechnical data including Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW), Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR), cone penetrometer (CPT), and dilatometer (DMT) data were collected at discrete locations along the levees. The data can be used for both retrospective analysis and as a baseline in the event of future flood damages to the levee system.
