Marine Geologic Data collected during NB Palmer cruise 2001-7

Data collected during cruise NBP01-07 was in support of NSF Award
OPP-0003060, a collaborative award to Hamilton College (E. Domack) and
the Desert Research Institute (G. Berger). The second cruise of this
project aboard the LM Gould (LMG03-03) will be reported separately by
G. Berger (the Lead Principle Investigator and Chief Scientist during
LMG03-03).

Data was collected on both sides of the northern Antarctic Peninsula
and included:
1) swath (multibeam) bathymetery archived at Lamont Doherty (see
data repository), Hamilton College, and the University of Barcelona.
2) sediment cores up to 20 m in length, curated and archived at the
Antarctic Marine Geology Research Facility of Florida State University
(see data repository)
3) single channel, 3.5 kHz digital Chirp data of excellent quality,
archived at Hamilton College.
4) water column measurements via CTDT of temperature, salinity, and
transmissivity, archived for the time being only at Hamilton College,
5) underway measurements of surface pC02, temperature, salinity,
and Chlor-a, archived by Ratheon Polar Services and contracting
agencies.
6) SEAWIFS ocean color imagery archived at Hamilton College,
7) underway ADCP current velocity measurements archived at the
Univ. of Hawaii, and
8) bottom photographs and analog video footage, archived at
Hamilton College.
