This repository contains data collected during the Field Testing of the H2020 project<strong> ESSENCE </strong>Empathic platform to personally monitor, Stimulate, enrich, and aSsist Elders aNd Children in their Environment; grant N.101016112. Data are free to be used. In case of publication of new results, <strong>reference to the ESSENCE project</strong> must be added to the Acknowledgement section <strong>and the relative paper</strong><strong>s</strong> should be added to the Reference list. <em><strong>Rationale</strong></em> <strong>ESSENCE</strong> aims at transforming the lessons learnt from the COVID-19 in a huge opportunity that exploits technology toward a deep evolution of the services targeting vulnerable populations: non- or pre-frail seniors, and children of the first years of primary school. To contribute to the public health response in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic, and preparedness for future emergencies, <strong>ESSENCE</strong> aims at boosting the creation of a new model of home-based care that relies on stimulation, remote monitoring, tele-assistance, and connection between users, families, and professionals. The <strong>ESSENCE</strong> field testing involved two ecosystem, <strong>Seniors</strong> and <strong>Children</strong>. <em><strong>Children ecosystem</strong></em> Data are included in the <strong>ChildrenFieldTesting_SeriousGames.zip</strong> folder. They refer to the execution of Serious Games to anticipate the risk of handwriting delay from an age when handwriting is not mature yet.
