Modeling Market Behavioral Engagement Chains in Digital Ecosystems Using PLS-SEM

This study investigates the market behavioralengagement chain within digital ecosystems by examining howvirtual intimacy shapes user behavioral outcomes in immersiveonline interactions. Drawing upon the perspective of OrangeTechnology, which emphasizes positive computing, empathyenhancement, and societal well-being, the study explores therole of social escapism in fostering virtual intimacy and itssubsequent influence on physical prolongation, incontrolability,and social negativity. A quantitative approach was employedusing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling(PLS-SEM) to analyze user behavioral patterns in digitalenvironments. The findings demonstrate that social escapismsignificantly contributes to the development of virtual intimacy,which in turn strongly affects prolonged physical engagement,behavioral incontrolability, and social negativity. The resultsindicate that emotionally immersive digital experiences maysimultaneously strengthen psychological attachment andgenerate unintended behavioral consequences when digitalengagement exceeds healthy boundaries. This study contributesto the Orange Technology discourse by providing empiricalevidence on the dualistic nature of digital intimacy incontemporary ecosystems. The findings highlight theimportance of designing human-centered digital platforms thatpromote empathy, emotional well-being, and responsibleengagement to support societal harmony in increasinglyimmersive technological environments.
