资源简介:
This project examined factors that influence interference between perceptual processing and information stored in working memory. Human participants completed a behavioral dual-task paradigm, while pupil size (reflecting task effort) and electroencephalography (EEG) data were recorded. Results show that when perceptual and memory tasks are presented in the same sensory modality and/or information domain (spatial vs. temporal), dual-task performance is worse, effort increases, and neural processing of stimulus events is interrupted.
