This repository contains input datasets and results presented in the article Castonguay et al 2023, Navigating sustainability trade-offs in global beef production, <em>Nature Sustainability</em>, https://www.nature.com/articles/s41893-022-01017-0. Results for the two spatial scenarios, National Beef (results_national_beef.tar.gz) and Beef Without Borders (results_beef_wo_border.tar.gz) are included. All pre-processed data required to run the optimization and replicate results are included in the file inputs.tar.gz. The code used for this analysis is available from the following link: https://github.com/accastonguay/beef_simulation
