资源简介:
Sundarbans mangrove forest is famous for unique environment for diverse bacterial populations. In mangrove, bacteria are playing an important role in controlling the ecosystem. The present study aimed to analyze the bacterial diversity of mangrove sediment which is collected from Jambudwip, the archipelago of Sundarban, located near Freasherganj, West Bengal, India by metagenomic approach. The light independent next generation sequencing such as ION Torrent PGM system was used in this study. V3 and V6 hypervarible region were amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) from DNA samples using a range of barcoded fusion oligonucleotide primers. Alpha diversity also analyzed in V3 and V6 region. The data were analysed by bioinformatics tool such as MG-RAST. Analyzed data shows that major bacterial phyla are present in population and Proteobacteria are dominating the other class of bacteria in both V3 and V6 region.
