This dataset is a text classification dataset, consisting of sentences filtered based on the basic emotions found in Plutchiks Wheel of Emotions. It is used for training models to recognize 8 different emotions: joy, trust, fear, surprise, sadness, neutral, anticipation, and anger. The dataset is divided into a training set, validation set, and test set, containing 36356, 4545, and 4545 examples respectively.
