Data from Sex-specific dispersal patterns of the threatened Northern River Shark (Glyphis garricki), Australia and Papua New Guinea (2012-2018)

Occurrences of 384 Northern River Sharks, Glyphis garricki, and their associated metadata are recorded here. The genetic data of mitochondrial genomes was produced to investigate the sex-specific dispersal behaviour of the species in Northern Australia and Papua New Guinea.
