The invention relates to an edge tape cassette for receiving edge tapes comprising a cassette housing (18)， in which a winding core is arranged， which fixedly holds an edge tape (2) that is existent as a container in the form of a wound-up roll. Furthermore， the edge tape cassette has a receiving element (1)， which is rotatable mounted in the edge tape cassette， and to which the winding core is attached， in particular in a detachable manner.
