The more important impact of bacterial diversity on ecosystem functions compared to network complexity: Insights from an experimental manipulation study

Our study aims to assess and compare the extent to which bacterial diversity and network complexity affect ecosystem function at different organic matter content. The data show that microbial diversity has been playing an important role in maintaining ecosystem function in all soil samples, and the effects of network complexity on ecosystem function may vary significantly with changes in soil environment. The dataset includes microbiome data (abundance and diversity), various ecosystem function indicators, R language programs used, and images generated during the analysis.
本研究旨在评估并对比不同有机质含量条件下,细菌多样性与微生物群落网络复杂度对生态系统功能的影响程度。研究数据表明,在所有土壤样本中,微生物多样性均在维持生态系统功能方面发挥着关键作用,而群落网络复杂度对生态系统功能的影响可能会随土壤环境的变化产生显著差异。本数据集包含微生物组(microbiome)数据(丰度与多样性信息)、各类生态系统功能指标、研究所使用的R语言程序代码,以及分析过程中生成的可视化图像。
