AURA - Operational Radar Network Level 1 Archive

The level 1 dataset consistents of uncalibrated and uncorrected radar volumes in their native spherical coordinate system. This data is provided "as is" and users who need corrections should use level 1b and level 2 datasets. This dataset is intended for use by radar scientists and data analysts who have an understanding of the issues which may be present in weather radar datasets. Applications include performing radar calibration and analysis that require uncorrected radar data. The data resolution, frequency, fields and number of levels depend on the weather radar hardware used to collect the information, and therefore varies considerably across the dataset.
