Musica e bellezza tra Grecìa salentina e Magna Grecia

In Terra d'Otranto, where people speaks the Griko idiom, it is possible to find some cultural traces, primarily musical and dance, which show with great coherence the existence of a line of historical and linguistic continuity between the Byzantine civilization, Grecìa Salentina, classical Greece and Magna Graecia. The results of a long series of studies and research on myths, beliefs, the phenomenon of tarantism, music and dance, conducted according to both an ethnomusicological and aesthetic perspective, today find important concordances with the historical investigations of glottologists.
