QPE uncertainty assessment over Iowa

This repository has several Hydrologic discharge simulation runs made using two QPE products (MRMS and IFC) altered by a multiplicative factor oscillating between 0.1 and 5. The simulations are recorded at the USGS gauges with observations in Iowa between 2015 and 2022. Additionally, we included the performance metrics and the code to generate the analysis developed for the manuscript titled: "Assessing the Impact of Radar-Rainfall Uncertainty on Streamflow Prediction."

The data on this repo contains three compressed files:

hlm_runs.rar: Holds the hydrologic model runs using both QPEs and the multiplicative factor.

performance.rar: It has a summary of the performance metrics and a folder with the raw performance at each gauge.

rainfall.rar: Has the rainfall computed at each watershed using COOP gauges (folder), as well as the results for MRMS and IFCA?

All the data was stored in gzip compressed parquet format using Pandas.
